Expressions of Interest to Participate
“Rustle Up – the confidence to cook healthy meals at home” is a new cooking program being offered at Warrnambool Neighbourhood and Community Centre. Our aim is to give participants the confidence, knowledge and skills to create healthy meals at home making the most of available food options. The focus is on learning basic skills for home cooking - touching on kitchen hygiene, health and safety, foundation level cooking techniques, using pantry staples, cost effective cooking by making the most of what's available and learning the joy of having the confidence to "Rustle Up' a healthy home cooked meal for yourself, family and friends.
Workshop numbers are small to ensure that each participant gets the individual support and attention they need as they learn and gain confidence in the kitchen.
We will run 8 courses in 2025.
Each course consists of 4 x 3-hour interactive workshops (Once a week across 4 Weeks)
Only 3 places are available in each course and Preference will be given to those living in the East Warrnambool area.
Places are Limited - so an application is not a guarantee of receiving a place, however we will do our best to accommodate all applicants where possible.
